EyeOnHigh featuring on BBC Spotlight
Last week the BBC spotlight team came to Penzance to interview us and the Cornish Pirates’ coaches for a piece they were filming on EyeOnHigh’s trailblazing use of drones as a sports training and development tool.
The Cornish Pirates are the first club in the UK to use a drone to give the coaches and analysts a bird’s eye view of the team’s training session, giving them the perfect perspective to see player dispositions, running lines, and defensive patterns.
Director and head pilot Mitch played rugby for the Pirates for many years, and the insight this gave him into there game enables him to work closely with the coaches and players to ensure we always deliver exactly the shot they need.
